The site is a 15 minute walk along the Rhine to Rudesheim which is a very pretty town with lots to do. The location is great with easy access to Rhine day cruises. However, the site is chaotic in terms of pitches. Vans and tents are squeezed in, pitches are not marked out and some vans and tents are literally within touching distance of eachother. I have never, ever seen such close proximity, a definite fire hazard and I am surprised that the Club recommends this site. Walking across to the shower blocks is also a hazard as guy ropes are everywhere. The toilet blocks are modern and very clean, which is a bonus. Pitches looking on to the Rhine, we were told, are only for clients who are staying a fortnight. We stayed for 6 nights in July 2018
