Very rude welcome upon arrival

We stayed here in July 2019 and booked through CAMC Upon arrival it was very confusing as to the location of the entrance , entrance via left turn from busy main road. Very tight entrance , upon pulling into entrance with our MH there is a barrier along side reception due to the lack of room our trailer that we was towing and carrying our small car was actually left blocking the entrance to other cars/vehicles. We was greated by a very rude woman whom we believe to be French, she opened the sliding window from behind the reception desk and proceeded to jesture with her arms and shouted not to park there, she wanted us to reverse back into the main road to let another car onto site rather than open the barrier and allow us to pull forward and get out of the way. Eventually after lots of stress and the lady on reception shouting presumed obsenities and abuse at us, she slammed the window shut for the fourth time and opened the barrier. I went into reception with our passports to check in, I was served and looked after by a pleasant young portugese girl who spoke very good english, while checking in the French lady then put on some music and proceeding to make fun at me and make more rude jestures, I ignored her. We had booked and paid for one of their 12 large pitches back in January 2019 , was given a map of the site and details of how to find our allocated pitch. Upon arrival at our pitch , it was occupied by another family, they had gone out for the day leaving behind there table, chairs and electric hook up. My husband went back to reception to ask if the belongings to the other family can be moved,. He was abruptly told to then find another pitch as they would not move the belongings of the other family, as they had a policy that if you do not like your allocated pitch you can move to another and without the need to advise reception that you have moved. Luckily there was another free large pitch free so we set up camp on there instead. The campsite itself was very clean and well kept The beach is actually a walk of around 50 minutes to an hour, and the walk home is up some very steep hills, not for the faint hearted, we didn't take our bikes as we felt the hills together with the heavy traffic it was too dangerous to ride them. Nazarre beach is lovely and sandy and worth a visit with some awesome waves, unfortunately not somewhere suitable to take the kids for a dip or a paddle. We would never come back to this site again , even if paid to visit, the rude member of staff upon check in put a taint on our whole stay and ruined this part of the holiday due to the upset it caused, in over 10 years of camping/caravanning and motorhoming we have never been treated in such a hostile manner and made to feel so unwelcome.
