Hook of Holland to Gränna

Taking the ferry from Harwich makes for a slightly shorter drive - just over 1000 miles! This route sticks to the road all the way, crossing the Storebæltsbroen Bridge from Nyborg to Halsskov and the Øresund Bridge between Copenhagen and Malmö before continuing to Gränna.

  • A short drive from the Hook of Holland terminal, this campsite has a great lakeside location, a short walk from the town of Delft.
  • Visit the Royal Delft Museum and discover the history of porcelain dating back to 1653.
  • Wander the picturesque streets of Delft and enjoy a coffee or a meal at one of the many cafes and restaurants.

Delft to Hanover

  • Heading to Germany today, the route takes you via Utrecht and Osnabrück, both historic cities worth a stop to explore and enjoy lunch on the way.
  • The campsite at DoktorSee is set on the banks of a lake, with access to the famous Weser cycle route.
  • Visit the nearby Renaissance Bückeburg Palace, home to the Princely Riding School and seat of the Counts of Holstein-Schaumburg (later the Princes of Schaumburg-Lippe) for more than 700 years.
