Lovely well kept site

Ham Farm
We booked a 5 night stay to use a gift of afternoon tea on the East Somerset Railway. We were met on arrival by Phil the owner, what a nice chap, he was extremely helpful and supplied us with a local OS map pointing out local walks, pubs and a coffee shop. A nice stream on site with a man made sandy beach. Also a picnic bench was provided but unfortunately the weather was so awful we were not able to utilise the facilities on site or take advantage of the many local walks. Phil came round in the afternoon with excess produce from his allotment too - what a bonus, the home grown cucumbers were delicious, thank you Phil.

Very quiet and picturesque site

Ham Farm
We stayed one night only. As it had rained constantly for two days, the owner had suggested we park in the farmyard across the road from the CL, which we did. This also had ECU and water points, plus a chemical toilet dump facility. We enjoyed a very peaceful night and would happily have done some local walking (there are many footpaths) if it hadn’t been so wet. We were sorry not to see the owner who was in hospital on the day we visited.

Was sent detailed instruction on how to find this lovely site, met on arrival by owner and given very useful information and local site map.. Lovely location with river on site ideal for touring area or resting. Well maintained- could it be improved? water tap was across the road causing me mild exercise so only 99.99% seems fair. Will we go back- yes most likely

The welcome with a map of the numerous footpath , the beautiful steam that runs through site with a sandy beach! The amazing wild flower meadow with orchids with walkways through meadow so you could enjoy the full experience. The grass was neat , short , cut frequently even the grass verges were carefully trimmed with margins of wild grasses.. Just a perfect site. Thank you Phil.

Wow oh wow

Ham Farm
I booked five nights on this site to enable us to use the East Somerset railway ticket that my daughter had bought us. Not been to this area before so was unsure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise we had. Beautiful site, well kept abs with beautiful surroundings. So quiet and Phil is a really nice guy. Brought us an O/S nap so we could find the many foot paths from the site. About halfway a mile from the site over the two fields n there is a lovely cafe which is in Holcomb. We had a lovely pot of tea and cake, even had water and treats for the dog. We will certainly be back down. Thanks Phil for a lovely few days.
