Why stay here ...

Located on the outskirts of Amiens, this pleasant site has a tranquil setting and is perfect for visiting the key World War I sites and memorials. Small and attractively landscaped, its pitches are divided by shrubs and trees, which provide some shade, and can be accessed easily by larger units.

The facilities, although limited, are well-maintained and include a shop, bar and takeaway service, which tend to be open in high season and on weekends in low season. Fresh bread and croissants can be ordered from reception for the following day.

Amiens is close by and worth visiting for its Gothic cathedral, pretty canals and Museum of Picardy, which houses paintings and artefacts from the past 2000 years. The World War I memorials and cemeteries nearby also offer a poignant reminder of the region’s history.

Holiday in June

this site we stayed at for 7 night and we were not impressed. We had booked a special pitch but these were few and far which we did get one but we did not have a pump to pump the waste uphill and the water taps left a lot to be desired. It was advertised as tranquil and peaceful but with vehicles on the move every morning from approx. 7 to 7.30am it was far from peaceful. We have sent a complaint to the overseas office with photos of our complaints. This was the first site we had stayed in on our holiday and it did not leave a very good impression. Our biggest complaint is that we paid extra for something we did not get. A very good site if you just want an overnight stay on your way back to Calais but for anything longer a very poor site. for the caravan club to put its name too.

Simple site, good for short stays, clean & friendly, limited facilities

Good location for visiting WW1 memorial sites. Great transport links into Amiens with bus stop just outside site. The site itself is very basic, the play area and mini golf are stretching the truth a little. However the staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived. The shower block, toilets and the washing facilities were in good repair and clean and there and plenty for the size of this small site. Would use again as a stop over site, not really suitable for longer and probably not ideal for children as not much to do. Did have a bar and takeaway but only opens over the weekend. Bread and crossiants were great.

Must be the Second Worst Site in France

We stayed here for two nights 5th and 6th June and were not at all impressed. The site reception was manned by two students who were to say the least more interested in their mobile phones than their customers. This site was an absolute mess from start to finish, the outdated smelly toilet block was not cleaned at all during our two days stay and the Gents urinals were blocked for the whole time. The Wi-Fi coverage was confined to a few pitches close to the reception and also costly. The pitches were very rough and unkept with the local electrical hook up and water supply in need of some repair. The site bar and snack area was not open at all and seemed to be used as a store and the reception toilet area locked. Complained to reception about the toilet facilities but could not get to speak to any management, supposedly off site! This park should be removed from all Club literature as it falls way below the standards of any of our UK sites. Definately will not be visiting here again.

Good location for first stop-over

Stayed for first night stop-over when heading further south. Location was good for this being 2 hours driving (not rushing, approx 100 miles) from Calais in low season. Got a great, quiet pitch towards the back of the site as we were on our first caravan trip to France with two dogs. There wasn't a designated 'dog walk' area but we took them to the end of the site and obviously cleared up after them. There is a Nettos supermarket 5 mins drive away for stocking up on essentials to get you through the first couple of days. A good site and would recommend.
