Membership

Will you be pausing, refunding or cancelling memberships while campsites remain closed?

We have thought long and hard about this scenario and believe that the best thing we can do for the longevity of the Club and the membership as a whole is to ask that members continue with their membership and support the Club by renewing their membership when it is due if they are able to.

Although the Club has put in place prudent measures over the past number of years and also taken advantage of the financial support provided by the Government, neither can make up for the loss in revenue the Club has experienced in the past few months.

By supporting your Club, and maintaining your membership, you will play a vital role in safeguarding its future and ensuring our wonderful Club remains wonderful for the next 100 years.

Will members continue to receive access to a huge range of member benefits such as great savings, Club magazine etc?

Members will still be able to access the Club's vast array of members benefits, the Club magazine, and the online forum Club Together. Regrettably, due to the Government restrictions, some member offers may not be available at present but members can still shop and save with a variety of Club partners', including Cotswold Outdoor, Raleigh, ViewRanger and Chemist Direct.

Will cancelling my membership affect any forward bookings I have at Club campsites?

Yes, if you cancel your membership all forward bookings would be cancelled, or if the site welcomes non-members you can stay and pay the £12 a night non-member fee supplement.

Will cancelling my membership affect any of the other product and services I hold with the Club? (i.e. Caravan Cover, Motorhome Insurance, MayDay, Red Pennant etc.)

These products will remain in place, but cannot be renewed unless you are a member.

Will I continue to receive my Club magazine?

Yes. If there are problems with production or the post and for our Overseas Members, then you'll still be able to read the latest issue and archive of back issues on the Magazine App or online.

Will I still be able to make use of the member offers whilst the sites are temporarily closed?

Yes, but depending on the offer there may be restrictions. Please see each provider's website for details.

Great Savings Guide

Is the Great Savings Guide still available?

Yes, we have negotiated thousands of discounts at attractions across the UK. You can view the full list of attractions here: www.camc.com/greatsavingsguide. Please note the listings are subject to change and we are updating the website as and when we receive official notifications from the venues directly. We thank you for your patience during this time. You can also order a free printed copy of the booklet. Please note the Great Savings Guide booklet was produced prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and was correct at the time of publication however is now subject to change.

Are all the Great Savings Guide discounts still available?

Not all attractions will be reopening this year. We recommend you check the attraction website or contact them directly before travelling to avoid disappointment. Please note some attractions may now require pre-booking online or by phone and some will be offering a reduced number of tickets to ensure social distancing in line with Government guidelines. All attractions reserve the right to amend, replace or withdraw their offer without prior notification. How do I get my Great Savings Guide discount?

Prior to COVID-19, in the majority of cases you simply needed to present your valid membership card and Great Savings Guide voucher upon entry. Many attractions are now having to set up a pre-booking system to manage visitor numbers in line with Government Social Distancing guidelines. We have requested attractions to accept the discount code CAMC20, however please note not all attractions will have managed to set up a pre-booking system and/or discount code. We recommend you check the attraction website and/or contact the attraction directly before travelling to avoid disappointment.
