The Great Savings Guide discount code CAMC20 is not working?

We have requested attractions to set-up and accept the discount code CAMC20, however please note not all attractions will have managed to set up a pre-booking and/or discount code system. How do I get my Great Savings Guide discount?

You can view the full list of venues and discounts here: www.camc.com/greatsavingsguide. All venues operate different discount redemption methods. Each venue will use one of the following methods: 1. Presenting Great Savings Guide voucher at point of entry/purchase. 2.Pre-booking using a discount code. 3. Pre-booking using a bespoke booking link. Please visit the individual venue page on our website and follow the 'How to get this discount' instructions for details. How do I find out if a Great Savings Guide attraction is still honouring the discount?

All venues reserve the right to amend, replace or withdraw the offer without prior notification (as stated in the Great Savings Guide Terms and Conditions). Why won't my membership number apply the discount?

Discount cannot be applied using your membership number. The discount can only be applied using the relevant discount code. Member discount code can be accessed here.

When making a booking on the Club website or mobile App, where do I see the promotional price discount applied?

Once you have entered your party members, chosen your pitch type, entered your dates into the calendar* and pressed continue, you will be able to see your discount has been applied in the booking summary, at the bottom of the page. This will display the promotion name under "offer", and the price displayed will be the discounted price.

*Please note that the prices in the calendar will be the full, non-discounted prices. If the criteria of the promotion are met, the price at the bottom of the screen, and in the basket, will be the total discounted price.

Once this is added to the basket, press "show full basket" and the name of the promotion will be displayed. The total price shown, includes the promotional discount.

I've booked a stay with another promotion, will I also be able to get these discounts?

No, promotions are non combinable.

These promotions are available for new bookings only. You can choose to cancel your existing booking and make a new booking to benefit from these promotions, however please bear in mind our Deposit Terms and Conditions when cancelling within 21 days of arrival.

If an existing booking with a promotion applied is cancelled, you may not be able to get the same promotion again if it has expired or if the advance purchase date has passed

Can I order Camping Cheques or overseas site discount cards from the Club?

Yes, Camping Cheques can be purchased through the Club by calling the Travel Team on 01342 488 102. 

Are all the Great Savings Guide discounts still available?

Opening dates and times vary for each venue and we recommend you check the venue website or contact them directly before travelling to avoid disappointment. Please note some venues may now require pre-booking online or by phone and some will be offering a reduced number of tickets to ensure social distancing. All venues reserve the right to amend, replace or withdraw their discount without prior notification. Please note we are updating the website as and when we receive official notifications from the venues directly. 

Why does the total of my online basket keep changing?

As you add overseas sites to a Eurotunnel or ferry crossing, your basket recalculates any discounts that apply and displays the overall price of your holiday.

What is the Club Shop saving?

Members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club can save up to 10% at Club Shop and applying the relevant discount code. Member discount code can be accessed here.

I am not a member can I purchase items from Club Shop?

Anyone can purchase items from Club Shop however only members receive the saving by using the member discount code.

Can UK Club Site Vouchers be used to pay for Seasonal pitches?

No, the vouchers are only valid for Standard Full price UK Club Site Stays. Seasonal pitches are already heavily discounted.

How much does it cost to cover a caravan against theft, loss, or damage?

The cost of protecting your caravan and its contents against loss or damage will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to; the level and type of cover required, whether or not you require “new for old” cover, how many years No Claims Discount you have.

Cover is available from just £49 - this is based on £2000 limit of cover for caravan and equipment, £500 limit of cover for contents and £50 excess with over four years No Claims Discount.

What about your swimming pools?

We are following Government and Swim England guidance for operating the swimming pools and are pleased to advise that our swimming pool at Seacroft is now open and restrictions have been removed at our swimming pool at Hillhead. With regret, we have made the difficult decision not to open the swimming pool at Looe Club Site this year.

We have put considerable effort and expense into finding qualified lifeguards but this has proved impossible with the recruitment issues in the leisure and hospitality industry at present, particularly in the Cornwall area. As a gesture of goodwill, we are offering a discount of £4 per night in peak season and £2 per night in mid-season on-site fees. These discounts will come into effect from 19 July to 11 September 2021 (discounts will be manually calculated at check-in). Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment caused.  

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

When you join the Caravan and Motorhome Club, you’ll not only receive great discounts and savings on your holidays, you’ll also be eligible for our members-only Caravan Cover. The cover we provide protects you financially and gives you peace of mind if the worst does happen. We have designed our cover around our members and their concerns.

What are the benefits of joining the Caravan and Motorhome Club?

Membership of the Caravan and Motorhome Club (formerly The Caravan Club) gives you access to our entire campsites network, including thousands of privately owned 5-van campsites (Certificated Locations), plus, you won't need to pay the additional £15 per night non-member fee on published prices when you book a UK Club campsite as a member. You can also take out Caravan Cover and a range of insurance products, and can enjoy discounts on a range of products and services. 

I have an annual pass which I only bought a few weeks ago - how do I get a refund?

Anyone who has unused months (or part month) left on their Wi-Fi annual pass will be issued with a credit in the form of a campsite discount voucher. We have calculated the credit at £2.50 per month, as a gesture, we’ll also credit an additional month to every guest with an active pass.

So, even if you only have one day left, we will credit you £5 off your next campsite stay. Similarly, if you have just purchased a pass for the year, then you will receive £32.50 as a discount off your next campsite stay.

The voucher will be sent to the email address that you provided when you purchased your Wi-Fi pass.  All vouchers will be sent by middle of April.

Will you be pausing, refunding or cancelling memberships while campsites remain closed?

During these difficult times we believe the best thing we can do for the longevity of the Club, and the membership as a whole, is to ask members to support the Club by renewing their membership when it is due if they are able to. By renewing your membership it enables us to continue providing all the things you love and enjoy such as producing the monthly magazine; the Sites Directory and Handbook; keeping our Contact Centre open; investment in campsite redevelopments - including a significant upgrade to the broadband infrastructure; providing member offers for use when at home or touring - members saved £3m last year on items such as groceries, drinks, games, cars, pet food and clothing to name but a few as well as benefiting from the VAT discount when staying on-site.

We are hugely grateful to all the members who have continued to support the Club.

How do I save at Club Shop?

Members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club can save up to 10% at Club Shop by visiting shop.camc.com and applying the relevant discount code. Member discount code can be accessed here.

Can I defer the start date of my annual policy renewal?

If you don’t continue your annual multi-trip policy from the renewal date, we are unable to guarantee that the premium quoted on your renewal invitation will be the same if you take out a policy later.

However, for policies that were due to renew from 1 February 2020 - 30 June 2020 we will honour the renewal discount we give if a new annual multi-trip policy is taken out within six months of the renewal date. For policies due to renew from 1 July 2020 - 31 July 2020 we will honour the renewal discount until 31 December 2020.
