Our Certificated Location (CL) network is exclusive to members. The CLs are set up to accommodate up to five caravans, motorhomes or trailer-tents at one time. At present roof tent camping is not permitted at our CLs.

You can stay on a touring pitch, camping pitch or one of our brand-new glamping bell tents.

Yes, more than 50 Club campsites welcome tent campers. Simply head to the campsite webpage you wish to stay at and book a tent pitch online. If availability shows full, there may still be availability, so please call the campsite directly. There is no non-member fee supplement to pay when staying in a tent.

Trailer Tents (a folding tent which packs into a trailer) are also welcome at all UK Club campsites.

Bookings for caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents can be made through the app however tent bookings cannot. Please note that the UK site app only includes sites in The Caravan Club’s UK site network and bookings at continental sites cannot be made through this app.

Club members benefit from exclusive access to the CL network. It’s easy to join online so you’re only a few clicks away from being able to stay on these privately run sites.

CLs are set up to accommodate up to five caravans, motorhomes or trailer-tents at one time. As CL pitches are reserved for touring units, tent camping is unavailable other than in the form of attached caravan awnings, toilet tents or small single-berth pup tents which are regarded as part of the outfit.  Prior arrangement must be sought and additional charges may apply. However, camping is available on selected Club sites.

Yes, the Club tests towcars, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents/folding campers.

Test results are published in the Club Magazine (sent to members and available online). The Club also carries out annual design competitions for caravans, motorhome and lightweight leisure trailers, plus an annual Towcar of the Year competitions. Competition results can be found online.
