Located just 10 minutes from the centre of Shrewsbury, Betley Park is an adults-only campsite that welcomes well-behaved dogs and has stunning views across the Shropshire hills. Owned by Guy and Jo Robinson, the team behind the hugely popular 'Vanlove Fest', the campsite has newly installed electrical hookups and a turn of the 20th century pigsty that's been converted to an outdoor bar and BBQ area, which includes table tennis and a dart board.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery from a popular walking spot of Lyth Hill Country Park. Other nearby attractions include Hot Air Ballooning from Scenes Above, or test your driving skills with some off-road karting with Dirt Karts.

Ideal for a short break in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, Cholsey Grange is on a working farm with its own horse riding business and is located on approximately 200 acres of land. Each pitch has an electric hook-up, water and grey waste, with lighting for the winter nights. Owned by Ted Howard-Jones, the site is perfect for guests with dogs, with some fantastic mapped out dog walks direct from the campsite.

Local attractions and things to do:

There's a number of National Trust and other historic homes and gardens close by, as well as fantastic attractions like the Roald Dahl Museum, Legoland or Go Ape, suitable for the whole family.

Easily accessible from Cholsey Grange are the local towns of Henley-on-Thames and Marlow, with the large cities of Oxford and Reading about 30 minutes drive away.

Owned by Gerald and Hazel Hands, Terfyn Mawr is located 1.5 miles from the quaint 13th century market town of Newcastle Emlyn and is open all year round. With a mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches all of which have uninterrupted  views over the hills of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire.

There is an abundance of sandy beaches all within close proximity to the campsite, many of which allow dogs.

There's plenty of attractions nearby for all sorts of interests. Wander around Cardigan Castle, investigate the history of Castell Henly's hill fort or discover the thriving wool industry at the National Wool Museum. The Small World Theatre regularly hosts events suitable for young children, whilst adults might want to immerse themselves in a gin tasting experience at the Welsh Wind Distillery. Get close to nature with a wildlife boat trip with Thousand Islands Expeditions or visit the aviaries at The British Bird of Prey Centre.

Situated on a working farm in the unspoilt countryside of Dumfries and Galloway,  just outside the pretty village of New Abbey, famous for the Sweetheart Abbey ruins, Landis Farm is owned by Colin and Sandra Carruthers. The farm has been family owned for over 90 years, is dog friendly and has excellent accessible washroom facilities available.

Local attractions and things to do:

The town of Dumfries is best known for its connection with Robert Burns and there's a number of museums and interesting places to visit. Other attractions nearby include the Dumfries Museum and Camera Obscura or wander around Threave Castle or the Gardens and Estate.

The village of New Abbey is situated on the South West 300 Touring route, so makes it an ideal stopping point if you're travelling around the area.

Based in the village of Aston Abbotts in Buckinghamshire, Abbotts View Alpacas is an adult-only, working ECO farm that breeds alpacas. Owned by James and Jo Dell, the farm is 100% powered by solar and wind energy and guests are encouraged to use gas when cooking or heating their outfit.

Local attractions and things to do:

There are 18 National Trust attractions within a 30 minute drive of the campsite. Head to Wendover Woodland Park for a Go Ape experience or enjoy an afternoon tea at Bletchley Park, home of the code breakers. Aston Abbotts is a well-known cycling route and maps are available from the campsite. You can even book one of the popular Alpaca Walks with the owners directly.

Owned by Sally Whales, Brisley Hall Farm is an award-winning campsite located in the heart of Norfolk with uninterrupted south facing views from all the pitches. They have created 'corridors' for wildlife through tree, hedge and flower planting, with special Wildlife areas including no-mow zones, partial coppicing of willow and hedges have been left uncut during the nesting season. Bee hives as well as bat and bird boxes have been installed on site too.

Only solar and LED lights are used throughout the campsite and all the cleaning products are eco-friendly. They use Supersoil which is 100% organic and are also currently trialing compostable tree guards.

Local attractions and things to do:

Situated in a conservation village, the campsite has easy access to North Norfolk, the expansive coastlines and coastal villages as well as the city of Norwich. Head out on your bike and join the national bike Route 13, just 50 yards from the campsite. To support the local village Brisley Hall Farm have created a public footpath for local people to use and the sale of their free range eggs has raised money for Alzheimer's Research UK and Marie Curie Nurses.

There's plenty of attractions nearby, including a seaside trip to Cromer or visit the magnificent stately home Holkham Hall. Test out your skills with a spot of clay pigeon shooting with The Big Shoot or enjoy a Sunday steam train journey with Whitwell & Reepham Railway.
