Motorhome and campervan insurance member poll results

Motorhome Insurance

Over 30% of respondents have been motorhoming for 11 years or more (and 14% said they had been motorhoming for over 21 years) - so you really know your motorhomes! Members choose motorhome insurance through us for a variety of reasons, most notably because they feel it’s ‘good value for money’, and that it represents a ‘specialist offering tailored to motorhomers’ needs’. We were pleased to see that a little over half of respondents declared they chose to insure through us because ours is a trusted brand. Over 35% cited our expertise in the motorhoming market as a deciding factor in their purchasing decision.

Among the new policyholders (0-4 years), some 69% say they chose our Motorhome Insurance because it represents ‘good value for money/competitive price’.

Half of members who chose to remain with our Motorhome Insurance say they do so because it is a ‘specialist offering tailored to motorhomers’ needs’.

Lastly, we asked what value or benefits policyholders feel our Motorhome Insurance provides. The answer most frequently given was: peace of mind.

Campervan Insurance

The respondents to our Campervan survey were relative newcomers to the Club - 94% have been with us for up to 5 years. Interestingly, many are also fresh to the campervan scene - 36% have been campervanning for fewer than 5 years.

The overwhelming reason given for choosing our Campervan Insurance (by 50% of responders) was that it’s ‘good value for money’. And you told us that our product is particularly well-tailored to the circumstances of campervan owners and gives you the comfort of knowing that you are completely covered for what you need.
